楊詰蒼(1956~)從小拿著毛筆長大,他說:一枝筆、一雙筷子,就足以走天涯。

楊詰蒼的創作跨度是令人驚訝的。《千層墨》是他藝術生命發展的基底,是身為中國文人藝術家在遠離家鄉之後,在困頓至極後的可能必然發展;《十一日談》是他身為人,對生命的關懷和期許;《還是花》是他對人的觀察和反省之後,所產生的一種憐憫和謙卑。

Yang Jiechang (1956~) has been using Chinese ink brushes since he was a child. “With a brush and a pair of chopsticks, I can rove all over the world,” he says.

Yang’s creative span is out of the ordinary. Hundred Layers of Ink is the fundamental plinth of his art career after being far away from home and experiencing hardship; for being a man, Tale of the Eleventh Day conveys his care and hope for life; These Are Still Flowers shows humility that he has in mind after his observation and reflection on men.

ARTIST

楊詰蒼,1956年出生於廣東佛山,1982年畢業于廣州美術學院國畫系並留校任教,1988年至今,生活、工作在法國巴黎和德國海德堡。

1989年,他參加了中國美術館舉辦的“中國前衛藝術大展”,並在巴黎龐畢度藝術中心參與了“大地魔術師”的展覽的現場製作。之後,他的作品曾多次參加國際重要展覽,並在各大美術館舉辦個展。
