許唐瑋1980年生，實踐大學空間設計系畢業，取得台南藝術大學造形藝術研究所碩士學位。建築背景讓他擅於創造複雜的圖形與空間關係，現生活和工作在紐約。2013年，許唐瑋與加拿大藝術組織En Masse在紐約Fountain Art Fair和The Governors Ball NYC音樂節共同現場創作，此外更透過紐約藝術機構ISCP和紐約市交通局合作，成為台灣在紐約市設立公共藝術的第一人。
Born in 1980, Hsu Tang-Wei holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from Shih Chien University and an MFA in visual arts from the Tainan National University of the Arts. Hsu draws on his background in architecture to create complex forms and spatial relationships. Currently working and living in New York City, in 2013 Hsu Tang-Wei collaborated with the Canadian art group En Masse to produce on-site drawings at New York’s Fountain Art Fair and the Governors Ball NYC Music Festival. Also notably, Monkey Magic, presented in cooperation with the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) and the New York City Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Urban Art Program, gives Hsu the distinction as the first Taiwanese artist to have earned a public art commission in New York.
