橘園為澎湖縣策畫了第一屆(2001)的澎湖地景藝術節、為台北市策畫了第一屆(2002)的公共藝術節,並參與了高雄市兩屆的鋼雕藝術節之規劃與執行,對於運用藝術行銷城市的規劃與執行,有深刻的認知與體認。而類似的大型藝術活動案例,大都在戶外舉行,因此在藝術品的規劃與維護、場地的管理及安全等操作上,更顯複雜而不易,但對私人策展公司而言,類似的藝術活動案例,提供策展單位更多元、多層面的操作與服務體驗,繼而更豐富、累積未來在參與類似案例時的能力和經驗。
Public Art
L’Orangerie’s curatorial team organized the first annual (2001) Penghu International Earth Art Festival for Penghu County and Taipei City’s first annual (2002) Taipei Public Art Festival. The team was also involved in the planning and execution of Kaohsiung’s two annual Steel & Iron Sculpture Festivals. Having organized many art events, L’Orangerie holds vast knowledge and insight into the planning and execution of promoting a city through art.
These large-scale art events were mostly held outdoors. Therefore, the management and maintenance of artworks and on-site safety measures were relatively complex. For a private curatorial company, such art events provide a multitude of execution possibilities and service experiences. With the execution of each project, experiences and knowledge are further accumulated.
